About Me
My name is Beau McElhattan. I am 37 years old and live in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.
I currently work for the City of Tulsa in the city's water meter shop in water distribution. I have been there nearly 10 years. Before that I worked at the city of Sand Springs, Oklahoma as a water meter reader. Before that in the early 90s I worked at Knecht Maschinenbau in Bergatreute, Germany.
I attended Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, OK until my Junior Year. During my Senior year in 1991 I was a foreign exchange student in Germany. I was awarded a scholarship through the Congress-Bundestag Exchange program, which was administered through Youth For Understanding. I lived in Bergatreute, Germany and went to the Döchtbühl Gymnasium (high school) in Bad Waldsee for my senior year. My latest educational endeavors include various classes at TCC in Tulsa. I'm majoring in computers and hope to be completed before I am buried.
My interests include computers, web design (duh), alternative energy, local politics, and my two beautiful daughters. I've also had a life-long fascination with anything space, the universe and our place in it, astronomy, and anything that has a rocket on it. I've never been to Mars, but really think I deserve a ticket if we ever go!
